Q. How long does it take to open an account?

That's completely down to you. There's no limit on how much you can hold in your account.


 

Q. How much access do I have to my money?

You can make as many withdrawals from your International US Dollar Account as you like, without notice or loss of interest.

 

Q. Can I have card access to my International US Dollar Account?

Once your US Dollar Account is up and running, you can apply for an American Express International Currency Card. It gives you an additional way to access your savings, plus round-the-clock support from American Express.

 

Q. Can I access my account using internet banking?

You can use internet banking to check the balance, view account activity, order historic statements and interest certificates. Q. When is my interest paid?

Interest is credited to the account annually on the 31st December and is calculated on a 360-day year basis in line with established international practice.
