Warning - Phishing Emails

Warning - Phishing Emails

27th January 2009
We have received reports of phishing emails, claiming to have been sent
by the British Bankers' Association, and containing links to a number of fraudulent phishing websites.

These emails ask the recipients to confirm their internet banking details by clicking on the link for the relevant bank.   The user will then be sent to a fake website where they will be asked to log in as normal, which will then provide the fraudsters with their login details.

These emails are fraudulent and recipients should delete them immediately.
